According to statistics, parenthood is the leading reason that teen girls drop out of school. The CDC estimates that more than 50% of teen mothers never graduate from high school. The Salvation Army’s Marian Pritchett Center seeks to reverse this trend by providing second chances to teen mothers who may be expressing doubts about their lives and futures. The center prides itself on providing leading education, mentorship, and resources to help teen mothers while equipping them to become healthy, responsible parents with stable lives and careers. Hear firsthand from the mothers who are enrolled in the center as well as those who successfully completed the program and have decided to reach back and provide guidance to the young moms currently in attendance.
